SALT LAKE CITY, UT, April 2021 – Seek Labs, a healthcare innovations company doing research in infectious disease diagnostic systems and pharmaceuticals, announces a groundbreaking agreement with Utah State University (USU) to create a unique internship program that enables two USU students to gain valuable industry experience while continuing their academic pursuits on campus. The collaboration between Seek Labs and USU underscores a shared commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry and providing students with hands-on job experience.
Under the terms of the agreement, multiple USU students will have the opportunity to work as interns and perform research on behalf of Seek Labs in USU’s laboratory facilities. The unique internship allows students to remain as full-time students at the university and operate under both a USU faculty member and Seek Labs employees. This arrangement offers several significant advantages:
“We are thrilled to partner with Utah State University to provide this exceptional opportunity to their talented students,” said Craig Mosman, Vice President of Business Development. “This initiative aligns perfectly with our commitment to fostering collaboration and intellectual curiosity within our industry and community. By combining academic excellence with real-world experience, we are helping to shape the next generation of innovative scientists.”
