Craig Mosman, Chief Business Development Officer, to Step Down from Seek Labs and Move into Advisory Role

January 10, 2025

Seek Labs announced today that Craig Mosman, Chief Business Development Officer, will be stepping down from his role, effective January 6, 2025. While stepping back from his current role, Mosman will continue to support the company as an advisor, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing strategic guidance. Over the past eight years, Mosman has been a driving force behind the company’s growth, making significant contributions across business development, pharmaceuticals, legal affairs, and more.

Craig Mosman co-founded Seek Labs in 2016 alongside Brad Bauer and Jared Bauer. During his tenure, he held key positions, including Vice President of Business Development and Chief Business Development Officer. He was instrumental in developing Seek Labs’ proprietary therapeutic platform, which deploys CRISPR to selectively disrupt pathogenic genomes, limit disease spread, and enable host recovery. Mosman’s efforts have been vital in protecting Seek Labs’ intellectual property and fostering collaborations that brought innovative ideas and technologies into the company. His leadership in business development also helped establish partnerships and collaborations that have moved Seek Labs’ technologies closer to improving patient outcomes.

“Craig has been instrumental in growing Seek Labs to where we are today,” said Jared Bauer, CEO of Seek Labs. “His vision, expertise, and unwavering commitment to patients have left a lasting mark on our company and our mission. Beyond his professional achievements, Craig has been a trusted colleague, business partner, and friend. We will deeply miss his presence and leadership as he transitions to an advisory role.”

Mosman’s career spans decades of impactful contributions to the biotech industry. In addition to his time at Seek Labs, he has held executive roles, including serving as CEO of CancEr2, Inc., where he spearheaded the development of a novel prostate cancer treatment, and its spinoff, ClonE2. He later served as President of Kirkland Biosciences for over a decade, where he led efforts to acquire, develop, and commercialize early-stage technologies.

“It has been one of the great joys of my career to work with the extraordinary scientists at Seek Labs,” said Mosman. “What they have achieved over the last eight years is nothing short of remarkable. I am excited to continue supporting the company as an advisor, and I have complete confidence in the leadership, the team, and their ambitious vision for the future. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to my dear friends and fellow co-founders, Jared Bauer and Brad Bauer.”

Mosman earned his J.D. from the University of Idaho and a B.A. in Education from Utah State University. As he steps into his new role as an advisor, Seek Labs extends its heartfelt gratitude for his service.
