Seek Labs Showcases SeekIt™ at Aquaculture 2025

March 24, 2024

Seek Labs was proud to participate in Aquaculture 2025 in New Orleans, LA. Our VP of Research, Dr. Annie Roy, presented about our groundbreaking advancements in molecular diagnostics for aquaculture. As part of the Shrimp Health and Diseases Track, Dr. Roy introduced SeekIt™, the world’s first standalone molecular diagnostic testing platform designed for on-site, rapid disease detection for aquaculture diseases.

Her presentation highlighted how SeekIt integrates the essential components of molecular diagnostics into a compact, user-friendly system, making it possible to conduct pondside and field testing for aquaculture diseases such as White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV). She shared how SeekIt addresses a critical need for early disease detection, enabling farmers and researchers to take proactive measures to monitor shrimp health.

In addition to Dr. Roy’s insightful presentation, Seek Labs had the opportunity to exhibit throughout the conference from Friday to Sunday, engaging with industry professionals, researchers, and aquaculture experts. Our team connected with attendees to discuss the future of molecular diagnostic testing and how our innovations can transform disease detection and management in aquaculture. Beyond aquaculture, we also shared our broader vision for revolutionizing point-of-care diagnostics to address global health challenges.

Thank you to everyone who attended Dr. Roy’s talk and connected with us at Aquaculture 2025!
